The power of media scare
A Danish newspaper ( BT ) had a poll today: What do you fear the most? 1. Earthquakes 2. Tsunamis 3. Nuclear power. People had voted to fear earthquakes the least, tsunamis some and nuclear by far the most. 1. Earthquakes kill the most people and are the most frequent (of the three) 2. Tsunamis kills a lot but are not that frequent. 2. Nuclear power plant melt down rarely happens, and doesn't kill that many.
